Our Dentists
Dr. James Chacko
Dr. James Chacko graduated with a doctorate in dental surgery in 2017 from the University of Toronto. He graduated with a distinction in bachelor of dental surgery in India in 2004 and underwent training in oral and maxillofacial surgery and obtained his masters in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2007. He was awarded the gold medal for the batch of 2007 in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has published many key note articles and novel oral surgical techniques in international journals.
He is well-known for his remarkable chair side manners. He is adept in performing minor oral surgery and is an expert in many fields of dentistry. Dr. James, brings with him many years of working experience in trauma care and oral surgery together with excellent inter-personal skills and demeanour. He ensures that his patients experience a caring positive atmosphere and believes more on preventive dentistry. He is passionate about all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, extractions, implants and root canals.
His work experiences include, providing oral surgery to patients in oncology and oral cancer units and acute trauma care centers in Salem India. He moved to Penang, Malaysia in 2008 and continued to work as a maxillofacial surgeon until 2013.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. James is happily married with 2 kids and loves playing tennis, and enjoys quality time with his family.
Dr. Hamsaveni James
Dr. Hamsaveni James graduated from The University of Toronto in 2019. She completed her Bachelor of Dental surgery in India in 2004 and has extensive knowledge in general dentistry. She moved to Penang, Malaysia in 2008 and continued to work as a general dentist until 2013.
Dr. Hamsaveni is passionate about dentistry and believes in providing comprehensive and patient-centered care. She is well experienced in all aspects of dentistry including Restorative dentistry, Endodontics and Preventive care.
She loves to treat her patients with compassion and firmly believes that “Oral health is the key to healthy life”. She loves treating kids of all ages and also certified to provide Nitrous oxide sedation for her anxious patients.
Dr. Hamsaveni is a member of Royal college of Dental surgeon (RCDSO), and Ontario Dental Association (ODA). She likes to keep herself updated with the current aspects of dentistry by attending Continuing Education programmes. She also enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her family.
